If you would like us to run the ThinkTwice Course – get in touch!
Day Course for up to 30 people
A one day training event to equip youth workers, pastors, pastoral carers and those with a general interest in mental health amongst the christian community.
Half day and full day options available.
The standard training covers:
- Introduction to Theology of Mental Health
And then choose from additional modules covering:
- Eating Disorders
- Psychosis and Schizophrenia
- Bipolar Disorder
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Suicidal Thoughts
Our training is interactive, with a chance to reflect theologically on the issues alongside practical advice on how to best support those with mental health issues.
We can also deliver standalone sessions on a particular topic covered by the course.
Later this year will be offering a module on self-harm; why people do it, how we can help practically and how we can make church a safe place for those who have harmed themselves.
“…a great course it is too. Well led with a good mixture of input, videos and interaction. A useful and informative day. Would highly recommend to all. :)”
Darren Smith, Pastor at Worcester Baptist Church
